I know what it’s like to have an abuser “protecting” you. 

I know what that’s like and how horrific it is and how suicidal it makes you. And I can’t stand seeing someone else trapped like that.

But I also know how often abused folks lash out at anyone reaching out to them when their abuser is still in power. And I know what this chick is capable of when she’s already sold her own out and walked all over us and made things a thousand times worse.

I don’t know whether to reach out or keep away and either option is filled with suck and fail and fml.
