QuestionYou know, in some cultures "beating" your child is just the same as most Americans "grounding" theirs, and to be quite honest what is more effective? I was beat all sorts growing up and I never thought of it as abuse. It's made me a better person and I fully appreciate it. Answer

Here’s something remarkable: People are different. I was hit and it fucked me up royally. And I definitely see it as abuse.
